A Great Writing Tip for Writer’s Block

A Great Writing Tip for Writer’s Block

You sit down ready to write and can’t think of a thing to say?
Here’s a great tip.

Warm up your writing muscle by making up a list of dangling sentences
such as:

~ I turned the corner and . . . . .
~I don’t know what I’d do if . . . .
~I knew I was in trouble when . . . .

You get the idea. So how do you get your creative juices flowing? Finish the dangling sentence and write at least a paragraph or two telling a short story.

You can equate this type of exercise to warming up before you lift weights at the gym or stretching before you run. It will get your creative juices flowing. I’ve never seen it fail!

Enjoy!
