Writing Tip of the Week – 4-20-18

Write Tip of the week – Write with conviction. What does that mean? It means drop phrases like –
In my opinion, Here are my thoughts, I’d like to tell you.  Simply tell them your opinion and your thoughts and what you want to say. That will give your writing the strength and conviction your readers are looking for when they pick up your book.

Instead of saying, “In my opinion the beaches on Maui are wonderful or I was thinking about how wonderful the beaches on Maui are…” say, “Maui beaches are amazing, with the clear, warm water and awesome waves.

Simply tell them what you think and give your opinion. Can you feel the difference?
