Is the sentence indulgent? Or does it help explain, elucidate, or elevate the truth?

Writing to impress your reader is mistake new writers tend to “indulge” in. But in today’s ‘give it to me fast – get straight to the point audience, unless you inspire to become a Hemingway, be straightforward and give your writing meaning in the most simple and informative manner. Lofty vocabulary for the sake of impression impresses the writer more than the reader.

Put your effort into good communication and engage your reader in the story or information, the purpose of writing in the first place.

Enjoy!!!!
