If we wait for inspiration, we may never write at all. Our “inner critic” can always come up with distractions and a convincing argument for putting it off.

I prefer to – Just do it. I have accomplished much more in life and in my writing career with that attitude and the loving support of friends and family than I would have if I just sat and waited for inspiration to knock on my door.

If you’ve got the writing bug, that’s inspiration enough.
